The GWDI StartUp Fellowship

 

The GWDI StartUp Office Fellowship is now available for underrepresented and under-resourced entrepreneurs.

The Greater West Dayton Incubator (GDWI) Startup Office Fellowship Program is now available to underrepresented and under-resourced startup founders who want to take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey by leveraging essential business growth resources and discounted office space at The Hub powered by PNC Bank and the Greater West Dayton Incubator for 12 months.

 
 

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all office spaces are filled.

As a GWDI StartUp Fellow you can take advantage of discounted office space at The Hub powered by PNC Bank and coworking space at the GWDI while particpating in programs to help your business grow. Applications will be reviewed interviewed, and selected by a special committee on a rolling basis until all office spaces are filled.

Program Eligibility:

○ Applicant must be in business for a minimum of one year.
○ Applicant must submit a profit and loss statement or bank statements for the last three months to demonstrate an ability to pay for the space at a reduced rate.
○ Applicant must participate in a minimum of three GWDI programs throughout the year.
○ Applicant must be willing to speak or serve on Crotty Center panels, events, etc. for University of Dayton students.

  • Access to co-working and conference room at GWDI on 1105 W. 3rd Street, Dayton, OH 45402.

  • Highlighted on GWDI and the Hub websites, social media, and press releases to promote your business.

The Process

  • Apply

    Complete an application to share how the GWDI StartUp Fellowship will help benefit you and your business for the upcoming year.

  • Interview

    If your application is accepted, you will meet with our selection committee to share more about your business and ask questions you may have.

  • Start

    Once the selection committee makes its final decision, you will be notified with an offer letter, orientation date, and move in date.

FAQs

  • The GWDI StartUp Fellowship will last for 12 months. The Fellowship is eligible to be renewed for one additional year.

  • All businesses are eligible to apply for the fellowship.

    Preference will be considered for GWDI clients who have participated in past programs, identify as underrepresented, under-resourced, and/or historically marginalized, and is located or serve customers in Greater West Dayton.
